Jubilee Bridge
Ceremony on Monday, October 6 kicks off “Jubilee Day” events
Members of the JUMP organization and representatives from Fisk and Meharry worked closely with Metro to form the Jubilee Bridge Beautification Committee to revitalize the historic Jubilee Bridge, which serves as a gateway to both college campuses as well as surrounding residential and commercial neighborhoods. Metro Beautification & Environment, Metro Parks & Recreation, and Public Works combined resources to pressure wash and clean the bridge deck and railings, provide new landscaping and erect new streetscape signage. The ceremony was held at the north end of the bridge next to the new decorative Jubilee Bridge sign.

Donelson Gateway Beautification Project
The Donelson GatewayProject is a cooperative effort whose purpose is to create a landscaped “Gateway” to Donelson's Neighborhoods and Business District. The location of phase 1 of the project is on the SE quadrant of the Lebanon Road – Briley Parkway Interchange.
Metro Beautification Partners with Greater Nashville Association of Realtors to Restore Riverside Memorial Drive to its Former Glory
On March 29, 2007 Metro Beautification and GNAR planted Yoshino Cherry trees at two locations along Riverside Memorial Drive in East Nashville. The intersections of Riverside at Carter Avenue and Porter Avenue are home to three new trees at each location.
NEON Partners with Teens on Beautification and
Cleanup Projects
During June teens working with the NEON neighborhood group and Councilwoman Pam Murray completed a beautification project at the corner of Lischey Avenue and Cleveland Street.
East Nashville Neighborhood works with Metro Public Works
to Create Beautiful Medians
Metro Beautification and Metro Public Works assisted the neighbors on Roberts Avenue in East Nashville with a traffic safety project that turned into a median beautification project.
