E - Newsletters for Neighborhoods
Welcome to the new Metro Codes E-Newsletter for
Neighborhoods. Our original news letter that began in 1993 was well
received and we have brought it back in a new format that we hope will
reach an even wider audience. This new effort is being sent out electronically
to over 3,000 citizens and neighborhood organizations all over Davidson
County.
The key to improving neighborhoods is to work
cooperatively and to share information. This newsletter is our first step
at sharing lessons learned and valuable information about the Codes Department
and it's community support programs. The Codes Department has undergone
a number of changes over the past few years, the most recent being the
implementation of the our computer upgrade called KIVA. It's just the newest
component to our pro-active codes enforcement program.
This e-newsletter will become a regular feature and we welcome your comments and suggestions. We'd also like to invite neighborhood organizations to submit information about their work, issues or events they'd like to share. Together, we can make Nashville the greatest place to live!
