E-Newsletter for Professionals

Welcome to the new Metro Codes E-Newsletter for Professionals. Our original news letter that began in 1993 was well received and we have brought it back in a new format that we hope will reach an even wider audience. This new effort is being sent out electronically to builders, architects, engineers, contractors, developers, business leaders and others with an interest in the construction industry and development of Nashville.
 
The key to improving neighborhoods and the built environment by building stronger and safer buildings is to work cooperatively and to share information. This newsletter is our first step at sharing lessons learned and valuable information about the Codes Department. The Codes Department has undergone a number of changes over the past few years, the most recent being the initial phase of implementation of the our computer upgrade called KIVA. It's just the newest component to our responsive and pro-active codes enforcement programs .
 
This e-newsletter will become a regular feature and we welcome your comments and suggestions. Together, we can continue to make Nashville the greatest place to live!
