Mayor Dean's Vision for Nashville
In June 2008, Mayor Dean signed Executive Order 33 creating the Green Ribbon Committee on Environmental Sustainability. The Green Ribbon Committee was charged to recommend targets and metrics to ensure that Nashville is a leader in livability and environmental quality in the United States.
