Healthy Nashville
Healthy Nashville is an initiative of the Mayor’s Office to continually improve the health and quality of life of all Nashvillians by mobilizing community efforts to reduce the impact of three strategic issues: obesity, tobacco use and disparities in heart disease, diabetes and cancer.
Healthy Nashville is guided by the Healthy Nashville Leadership Council and supported by the Metro Public Health Department.

Officially Sanctioned Healthy Nashville Events

The 2nd Annual Cumberland River Swim will be held on Thursday, June 25 at 5 pm. Participants will swim across the river, around a buoy, and back, exiting via concrete steps at the far end of the Riverfront Stage. Festival de la Salud
Radio La Mejor 1380 and the Nashville Latino Health Commission are teaming up to host the Festival de la Salud on June 27 at the La Reina Parking Lot at 3755 Nolensville Pike, from 2-5 p.m. NLHC will distribute Bilingual Health Guides, non-profit and healthcare organizations will providing health screenings and information booths, and hourly drawings will be held for gift cards.
