With your survey participation, we will be able to examine your priorities and concerns so that recommendations may be made to Mayor Dean about future improvements for Special Education in MNPS. The survey is anonymous and results will be reported in group form. Completing the survey should only take about 10 minutes; additionally, you are free to skip any question you do not want to answer.

Community Forums and Town Hall
The advisory council held a series of community forums following their meetings on May 27, June 9 and 23. Mayor Karl Dean hosted a Town Hall Meeting on Special Education July 14 at East Literature High School. The forums and the town hall meeting were intended to give parents and other community members an opportunity to discuss their concerns or ideas about special education services in Metro schools with council members.
