Mapping Services and Geographic Information Systems
We
offer two types of services. The Public Access (On-line Mapping
Application) and Commercial Access. Read below to find out more
about each of these unique services.

How Do I Access the Maps?
This short tutorial demonstrates basic map search techniques.
You
now have two ways to search for property information. When
you click on the link above you can choose to use either:
- The original version which includes mapping capabilites or
- The newest version which does not include the map and performs faster
searches.

What
is a Geographic Information System (GIS):
Find out what a Geographic Information System is and how the Planning
Commission uses the technology. Find information about the computer
system and software we use.
Public
Access:
Public Access allows you to view property, zoning,
topographic and planimetric data. In addition, it allows
you to search the database by owner, address or parcel
number.
Commercial
Access:
Commercial Access permits those users interested
in obtaining data for use in their own applications
to download the information from a FTP site. Fees for
download are in accordance with the map sales ordinance
passed by council.
Metadata:
Metadata is information about the data. Learn what
type of data we have available and where it all comes
from.
