Two Rivers Mansion

Two Rivers, the last of the elaborate antebellum plantation homes to be built in Middle Tennessee, was erected on the eve of the Civil War in the fertile valley between the Stones and Cumberland Rivers. David and Willie McGavock began work on the Italianate style house in 1859.
The people of Nashville purchased Two Rivers in 1965. The mansion is now made available as a rental site for public and private functions.
